In view of the current swine flu outbreaks worldwide, the Ministry Of Health (MOH) has issued an orange alert on our local Disease Outbreak Response System.
We want to ensure the well-being of all our members. As such, we are taking certain measures in line with MOH's recommendations, and we deeply appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
We will be conducting temperature checks on every person attending our Saturday youth services and Sunday services. Anyone with a temperature of 38°C or higher or who displays flu symptoms will be advised to return home to rest.
If you are already experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose or breathlessness, please see a doctor and recuperate at home.
The MOH has advised that those who have travelled to Mexico in the last seven days will be quarantined for seven days on their return to Singapore. In addition, those who are returning from New York, California, Kansas and Texas in the United States and Nova Scotia in Canada are advised to stay at home for seven days upon return. As such, we would like you to rest at home if you have been to these affected areas recently.
If you have family members or friends who are unwell or have visited the affected areas, please also encourage them to rest at home.
The Word of God promises that no evil shall befall us, and that no plague shall come near our dwellings. Let's continue to put our trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross by partaking of the Holy Communion and applying the anointing oil daily.
