Was surfing CNN.com last week and i though that it was really divine to have chanced upon this image of the stars.
I was just reminded that though our hands may be so small, but we have a Daddy God whose very hands flung the stars out into the Universe.
Was reading Mark 10:46-52 for devotion today and the Lord just open my eyes to see this passage completely afresh!
As Jesus was coming out from Jericho, behind him followed his Disciples and a thronging Multitude. However Jesus not only hears the cries of a nameless blind begger- Bartimaeus, but is also drawn to him.
The "name" Bartimaeus is very interesting because it is not actually a name, instead it actually means "Son of Timaeus".
Therefore Bartimaeus can be considered "Nameless" & insignificant in the eyes of all.
Remember how a multitude was following Jesus out of Jericho? Did Jesus pay any attention to them??? The answer is NO!!!!
Instead what stop the One who flung the stars into place- Jesus in his tracks was the cries of a blind and nameless begger.
Beloveds i want you to know today, that even as you are in the midst of preparing for your Mid-Year-Exams. Your cries for help are not unheard!!!
I want you to know that your cries will move GOD's mighty hand to your rescue!! Some times it can get really stressful, and you might not even have the strength or words to pray "Proper Prayers" (btw theres no such thing as a proper prayer, because even your sighs and cries are heard by Jesus.) but your cries goes directly to the king of kings.
If you are struggling in a subject, start taking Jesus as your Wisom and understanding, and confessing that you are a heir of the world in Christ.
This up-coming MYEs shall be bread for you, and you shall emerge the head and not the tail, because your exams are in God's hands!
This revelation is just a small portion!!! i shall share more about this passage on Saturday after DARE! :)
