Hows everyone? I hope you guys are enjoying your holidays! I sure am enjoying mine!!! The adrenaline from taking my exams have finally worn off & i'm starting to be abit like a pig only waking up after 11am. (I know some of you guys wake up even later!!) Not too mention i have also been kicking back with my stash of rented DVDs =) Woots!
Just wanted to do a quick recap of last week DG Message, since i haven't posted in ages.
Last week we were talking about, as Children of God, we have direct access to our Heavenly Father. Because of our Status in Christ, We are able to by pass all the security & simply jump on his Lap and his arms of love.
Esteem is the value that you set on yourself. Having a extremely low self esteem or high self esteem are both unhealthy! Instead we should have the Christ Esteem. When we built our Esteem, on things man made (I.e Looks, Computer Games, or BGR, we will never be stable. Our world becomes really chaotic like an earthquake.
Instead, when we built our lives on Christ the Rock, we become stable, secure & mature young men & women of God. We have the Christ kind of esteem when we remind ourselves that we God's precious children and that His amazing love for us will never ever change -Rom 8:14-17
Last but not least, I have good news!!!! Our DG Outing has finally been APPROVED!!!! YAYS!!!! So now we only have to fix a date & also decide where we wanna go!!! =) Tell you what! why dun you guys tag on the Tag Board on where we should go!!!
